        We are doctors. We do the best we can to get the right diagnosis and treatment for our patients. However, we are human and we do not know everything, we have good days and bad days, and we have limited experience.
        Consulting colleagues and Clinical Case Discussion have proved to be the best ways to increase our chances of succeeding: Two heads are better than one. All doctors know the value of consulting colleagues about their clinical cases. However this can be difficult if they are not in a hospital setting (and sometimes even there it can be difficult).
        What would happen in terms of morbidity and mortality if any doctor could consult his or her colleagues anywhere at anytime in a free and easy way?
        The benefits for doctors and patients could be of great importance. We wanted to create something that would allow doctors to help a colleague on clinical cases without having to be in the same room. It took us almost one year to develop ClinicalSession; an online platform that allows doctors to consult colleagues without having to be together.
        Being a doctor has a lot to do with altruism, companionship and solidarity. ClinicalSession has the same values. This is just the beginning, the future of ClinicalSession and its uses is in the hands of the medical community.

What is ClinicalSession ?

Clinicalsession.com is a free interactive website that has been created and developed to facilitate doctor to doctor collaboration. Now, doctors can consult their colleagues about clinical cases in order to get the best diagnosis for their patients - without having to be together.  

The website, which is exclusively for doctors, allows any doctor to consult colleagues or have an online Clinical Case Discussion, wherever they are, with any device (computer, smartphone) with an internet connection.  On ClinicalSession, doctors can hold online meetings, interact and collaborate on any shared document in real time by uploading files, inviting colleagues and connecting.

“All doctors know the value of consulting colleagues about their clinical cases.  However due to the reality of busy schedules, it can be difficult for them to meet face to face. Unfortunately other methods of communication such as the telephone, email or teleconferences are not practical or interactive enough. Our main objective was to develop a user-friendly interactive website, which was as similar to face to face meetings as possible.  The IT team developed an interactive website based on the concept of one doctor, one mouse.” Said Dr Domingo Obradors, MD and Director of the Medical Team at ClinicalSession.
